Essie - Resort Collection Swatches

Hellooo! :)
I don't know if one finger counts as swatches but I know that these bottles are extremely small to swatch them as a full hand swatch. Lots of other bloggers already swatched it and passed to different collections but it is not so easy to get your hands on a polish in Turkey. Most of the brand polishes are expensive and they are not easily found. So consider this post as a stash swatch, not a new collection swatch. (I said "swatch" a LOT!) I also got Smooth Sailing while I was buying this collection so it is included in this post too.

Thumb: Smooth Sailing - 2 coats
Index: No More Film - 1 coat
Middle: She's Picture Perfect - 2 or 3 coats
Ring: Pink-A-Boo - 3 or 4 coats
Pinky: Sure Shot - 2 coats

With flash

I liked all of these but if I had to choose my favorites, I would say Pink-A-Boo and She's Picture Perfect. They have tiny shimmers in them which made them my favorites in the first place. As for formula, worst one was Pink-A-Boo but I handled the situation pretty calmly since I loved the color.

Which ones did you like the most? Comment below and let me know if you'd like to see other stash swatches. :)

Bling!

Helloo!
I keep posting old photos that I took but didn't post. Today's is one of them and it was a fun mani to have on my nails. The texture didn't bother me at all, rhinestones started falling off after two days but I guess that is normal.

Hope you'll like it! :)

Leopard

Hi there!
(And please excuse the creative title of this post.)

If I have a regular follower out there (I hope I do, and if you do exist please don't hesisate to come say hi! :)) she would know that I give my best work when I copy a design previously done by someone else. Today's post is one of them, featuring a design from one of my favorite bloggers, Sarah from Chalkboard Nails! She did a tutorial about this leopard so go check it out too! :)

Base color is China Glaze - Agent Lavender
Inside of the spots is Rimmel - Ultra Violet
Outside of the spots is Rimmel - Blue My Mind

These were so fun and exciting to have on my nails. Definitely lasted for a long time for me, about a week or so I believe and that is why these are so grown out.
Hope you liked it! :)

Winnie and Friends!

Helloo!
As I grew up, I loved watching cartoons every saturday and sunday morning (- I still do). I was thrilled to do these ever since I saw them on Leslie's blog, Polish Art Addiction. Her blog is the first one to pop in my head whenever I want to feature a cartoon character on my nails, and do I need to mention that she rocks every single design? So go check her's out too.

Anyways, these were on my nails a few months ago and done by acrylic paints.
Hope you'll like it! :)

Essie - Watermelon

Hi! Today I have a pretty, pretty, a really pretty polish to show. Although my favorite color is pink, it is a little bit out of my comfort zone to wear on my nails. This polish wears fantastically, is a creme finish and so easy to put on. Definitely a must have pink for me! :)
Hope you liked it!

Deep In The Meadow

... under the willow, a bed of grass, soft green pillow

Hey! So I was thinking of what should be the title of today's post and as a Hunger Games hardcore fan, this popped in my head. If you haven't read/watched The Hunger Games, let me tell you that you're missing A LOT! I'm pretty much in love with it. Anyways, here we go:

Hope you'll like it. :)

Soccer!

Hey there! I have a manicure that I did today, and liked having it on my nails a lot! In Turkey there are a few great sport teams and I support Fenerbahce. When the team gets a punishment and audience is not allowed in the game, only ladies are allowed to be there to support their team. This game was one of them so I went there with my mom, my sister, a good friend of mom and her two daughters. We won 3-0, and I'm really tired (all the screaming and standing up) right now as I'm writing this post. It was worth it though, we had soooo much fun.
I had my team's colors and emblem on my nails. This time I tried a new technique that I've been seeing around for a while, the one when you draw the design on the wax paper and then you put it on your nail.
Hope you like it! :)

Rimmel - Aqua Cool

Hey there! :)
Today's post is from middle of summer and my nails are extremely long. Just look at them, OMG! The polish is extremely beautiful, manicure is soo shiny, it feels like perfection in every photo. All of the photos are pretty much same but I liked it so much that I felt like you should see them all!

Hope you liked it! :)

My first successful gradient

Hi there pretties! Apparently, I am still uninspired. Today's post features one of the good enough ones. Here is my gradient nails:

Hope you'll like it. :)

It's not about the price tag!

Hello there! Today's manicure is from June, and I couldn't post it until now. Some of you may know that Jessie J had a concert in Turkey. I had to be there, I mean, I love her sooo much. When there is a big event, I like doing my nails matching to it and for Jessie J concert, they were ready. It may seem like a simple design but no, I spent at least 3 hours on this. My perfectionist side showed up I guess.

Hope you like it! :)

P.S. - I took the pictures after I returned from concert to our summer house, so tip wear and other dents are so obvious, sorry about that :)

NOTD: Rimmel - Blue Vogue

Right, another break from blogging and I don't have a good excuse, school will start in a month and I basically did NOTHING in the holiday. I still painted my nails, did a few nail art when I was inspired but still, it was not a satisfying holiday for my nails. Some of the designs turned out good though, and those were the ones I got inspired from other bloggers. Today I have an extremely beautiful polish on my nails. It is a blue that is so dark, almost black. In sunlight, shows a bit of shimmer and indoors, mostly "dark midnight blue" as wikipedia's list of colors states. I believe this is two coats and I used China Glaze's fast drying top coat. Unfortunately, I am running out of it and the end of the bottle is gooey, hard to manage and leaves bubbles. That is why you see LOTS of bubbles on my nails.
By the way, I am posting these posts from my phone's Blogger app, and apparently I am no good at using HTML codes. So I will manage them once I go back home.
Hope you like it! :)

Butterflies in Your Stomach

Good morning / afternoon / evening! (whereever you're living)
Actually, the title should have been butterflies on your nails. :)
I am going through basics and after tribal nails, I did monarch nails, as in monarch butterflies. Again, these are not recent pictures, I believe these are from three weeks ago. Normally, I'm not a fan of orange color, and this manicure is probably the most bearable version of orange to me.
Base color is Orly - Truly Tangerine.
The phone case that was on my iPhone at that time apparently had some errors, it blocked the camera. It was not that obvious without flash (just a bit of yellow peeking), but this happened with flash.
You can see a bit of wearing, photos were taken after second day, please ignore it. :) Done with acrylics and thin brushes. Here is a photo of real monarchs, although I would run away instantly if a butterfly so big came near me, I just think they are pretty to look at in the pictures. :)
Have a nice weekend :) (And also, from now on, I will not only have nail art, I'll try to do swatches and NOTD's since I feel a little bit uninspired and wear polishes on their own)

Tribal Nails

Hello there! Today, I have a manicure that I wanted to try for a long time and had chance to do a couple of months ago. I believe almost every nail artist (is there such a term?) done tribal nails at least once in their life. It was quite a challenge for me, all those stripes and dots took longer time than they normally should have, but the end result was worth it.

I wore this mani for a couple of days before taking pictures of it, so ignore the wearing on the tips.

The base color, purple, is Pastel 309. The rest is painted with acrylic paints and brushes.
Hopefully, you'll enjoy it as much as I did! :)
