Butterflies in Your Stomach

Good morning / afternoon / evening! (whereever you're living)
Actually, the title should have been butterflies on your nails. :)
I am going through basics and after tribal nails, I did monarch nails, as in monarch butterflies. Again, these are not recent pictures, I believe these are from three weeks ago. Normally, I'm not a fan of orange color, and this manicure is probably the most bearable version of orange to me.
Base color is Orly - Truly Tangerine.
The phone case that was on my iPhone at that time apparently had some errors, it blocked the camera. It was not that obvious without flash (just a bit of yellow peeking), but this happened with flash.
You can see a bit of wearing, photos were taken after second day, please ignore it. :) Done with acrylics and thin brushes. Here is a photo of real monarchs, although I would run away instantly if a butterfly so big came near me, I just think they are pretty to look at in the pictures. :)
Have a nice weekend :) (And also, from now on, I will not only have nail art, I'll try to do swatches and NOTD's since I feel a little bit uninspired and wear polishes on their own)

Tribal Nails

Hello there! Today, I have a manicure that I wanted to try for a long time and had chance to do a couple of months ago. I believe almost every nail artist (is there such a term?) done tribal nails at least once in their life. It was quite a challenge for me, all those stripes and dots took longer time than they normally should have, but the end result was worth it.

I wore this mani for a couple of days before taking pictures of it, so ignore the wearing on the tips.

The base color, purple, is Pastel 309. The rest is painted with acrylic paints and brushes.
Hopefully, you'll enjoy it as much as I did! :)

NOTD: butter London - Disco Biscuit

Hi! I previously stated in my last post that I will be posting a NOTD. Here it is with all its glory, butter London - Disco Biscuit.
It normally looks like this, but when the light strikes...
VOILA! Its true beauty can easily be seen, I'm pretty sure most* of you will like it.
*Unless you're a pink hater, and I hope you're not
And a bottle shot. Kind of blurry but still looks EXTREMELY pretty to me. :)

This is a jelly with blue shimmer in it. I am wearing 3 coats of it in these pictures. butter London's are a bit pricey, and after keeping this on my nails for 3 days, it did stain a bit, but besides those, it is a must-buy.
Have a nice day! :)

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to the greatest things alive in this world! Whether they are mother-to-be's, a girl without a mom and has to take care of the family, a single mom, or even a dad that needs to play the roles of both father and mother, you all are special and we really need you in our lifes. If you are lucky enough to have your family, know that once they are gone, you won't be able to do anything to get them back.

Enough with the emotional talk, this is a picture of mommy's and my hands. Since this is a nail blog, I thought it would be the best way to celebrate this day. :)
Mommy is wearing China Glaze - Ruby Pumps, and I am wearing butter London - Disco Biscuit. NOTD of it will come in a few days.
Hope you had a wonderful day with the ones you value the most! :)

Dandelions

It has been a long time since I posted. I know I do this a lot and should not do it in order to have more followers and make people see my work, I'll try harder. :)

I did this mani a while ago but had time and interest to post it only now. I saw a tattoo of dandelions and it was sooo pretty that I could not just past through it and I turned it into a mani. Then, like a week later, I saw that Copy That, Copy Cat posted basically the same mani before me. So, being not inspired by her, I still feel like I should be giving credits to her, you should go see hers too.

I loved watching dandelions flying with the wind when I was a kid. I still love it but I don't see them that often anymore.
The base color is China Glaze - Blue Year's Eve, and this photo is blurred to make you see how shiny it is under the lights. So, so pretty. :)

The nail art is done with brushes and acrylics, all by myself. I don't think that it was a challenge to do, so if you are a beginner and want more complicated looking art on your nails, this might be a great choice.
Hope you'll like it. :)
